Rector Hattrick Pool

I'm starting a Rector Hattrick pool. $5 gets you in and you pick a date when he pots 3 in one interplant game (2 regulation 20-minute periods). So close last Sunday night (and against the Misfits at that!). Had it been a full 3 period game, I have full confidence that he would have done it.

Who wants in for next week's game? We'll need to get odds on the payout as we know the level of competition varies. Say 10-1 payout if he does it in the playoffs vs. the Misfits, 20-1 if he dangles past Robert Rogers 3 times, 2-1 if he does it agains the Warehouse, etc.

Graham Stark Award

I think we should create an award to honor one of the greatest all around athletes that the Datacenter hockey team have ever seen. This award will not be based on athletic ability but on most penaly minutes. At the end of the season we will try and convice Graham to come back and present the award to the winner at the annual end of year party at Derek Lapoint's camp. Which he says he will host every year and never does.

So its already Wednesday and there's no mention of Rodeny Broad's first star preformance in a big win for the Data Center on Sunday night. Weak

Norm "Mike Bossy" Purdy ???

When looking at Norm's photo in the Heros Section (http://www.canoecrew.com/Heroes.html) it hit me that he doesn't actually look like Mike Bossy but does show an uncanny resemblance to two different Simpsons characters (Artie Ziff and Disco Stu).

How about a vote to change Norm "Mike Bossy" Purdy's name?
